  1.          This is the CONTENTS of APDC Disk #011:  Sounds

  3. USER NOTE

  5.     You should have a Y cable connected from the two sound
  6.         output plugs on the back of your Amiga CPU to the AUDIO
  7.         plug on the back of your monitor, or to some other sound
  8.         output device, such as a stereo receiver.  Otherwise, only
  9.         your Amiga will hear these demos!
  10.  
  11.     This disk contains the following programs:

  14.     Speech     A little speech given by yours truly, the Amiga.

  17.     SpeechToy  The classic.  To run program double click 
  18.            on the nose or eyes of the SpeechToy icon.
  19.                    Source code in C Programming language is in
  20.                    the file Source/Speechtoy.c

  23.          Scales    A simple sound demo with full discussion 
  24.                    (ScaleDoc) on using the Amiga sound chip by the 
  25.                    program author, Steven A. Bennett. Source code is 
  26.                    in the file Source/Scales.c

  29.      PSound    Use this excellent shareware program from SunRize 
  30.                    Industries to play and edit the digitized sounds 
  31.                    in the Sounds directory. Please note: If you edit
  32.                    a sound demo DO NOT SAVE IT ON THIS DISK! There is
  33.                    not enough room on this disk to save.
  34.  
  35.            Psound comes with the samples demo1 (bang), demo2
  36.                    (Welcome) and demo3 (Button), which it plays when 
  37.                    the program is booted. The other sound demos in the
  38.                    Sounds directory are as follows:
  39.                                    Spock    2001     
  40.                                    Hal      StarTrek  
  41.                                    T-Zone   StarWars
  42.                                    007        Vadar
  43.                  To play these choose Load from the menu selection, and
  44.                    type in APDCSounds:Sounds at the Drawer requestor to 
  45.                    enter the proper directory. Then simply click on the 
  46.                    sound demo you wish to load.
