- USER NOTE

- You should have a Y cable connected from the two sound
- output plugs on the back of your Amiga CPU to the AUDIO
- plug on the back of your monitor, or to some other sound
- output device, such as a stereo receiver. Otherwise, only
- your Amiga will hear these demos!

- This disk contains the following programs:

- Speech A little speech given by yours truly, the Amiga.

- SpeechToy The classic. To run program double click
- on the nose or eyes of the SpeechToy icon.
- Source code in C Programming language is in
- the file Source/Speechtoy.c

- Scales A simple sound demo with full discussion
- (ScaleDoc) on using the Amiga sound chip by the
- program author, Steven A. Bennett. Source code is
- in the file Source/Scales.c

- PSound Use this excellent shareware program from SunRize
- Industries to play and edit the digitized sounds
- in the Sounds directory. Please note: If you edit
- a sound demo DO NOT SAVE IT ON THIS DISK! There is
- not enough room on this disk to save.

- Psound comes with the samples demo1 (bang), demo2
- (Welcome) and demo3 (Button), which it plays when
- the program is booted. The other sound demos in the
- Sounds directory are as follows:
- Spock 2001
- Hal StarTrek
- T-Zone StarWars
- 007 Vadar
- To play these choose Load from the menu selection, and
- type in APDCSounds:Sounds at the Drawer requestor to
- enter the proper directory. Then simply click on the
- sound demo you wish to load.
